8:45 pm. That's what the clock said and Zyler couldn't wait to get off in fifteen minutes. I mean sure, he liked his job but he didn't want to waste his night in a flower shop when that new club downtown was calling to him. He had been so excited about the grand opening he had almost forgot he had to work.
Zyler pushed his waist length white hair over his shoulder as he stood from his kneeling position. He was just triming up some of the roses when the clock had caugt his attention. Whiping the dirt from his hands onto his apron he sighed. It had been a busy day and he couldn't wait to close up the shop. That is untill the ringing of the bel
You fall down farther then you can see into the black pit.
Not knowing that the pit is your own darkness.
Thoughts and statemens rush into your head.
Taking over your vision you see the pictures.
The mocking of others.
The threats and the hate.
You try to stand up but you find it hard.
Not wanting to give in.
But thinking hard,
You find it may be better.
Holding the sharp metal to your wrist,
as you feel wetness on your cheeks.
You don't know why,
But you feel guilt and fear.
Knowing if you give up,
you will still be a dissapointment.
Thoughts of others and your own mix together.
Not sure which is which.
Do you really want t
Believeing in what she wants.
Her words are her own.
She had the love of her life.
And her own dreamy home.
Trusting in what she has.
Nobody can touch her now.
Dressing her in gowns and robes.
Prince Charming gives a bow.
Living in her own fairytale.
Nothing can harm her now.
The soft hum of her song.
Escaping in her dreamland.
Where all is well and plentiful.
But now it's time has come.
To leave her beautiful dreamland.
And wake to the world.
He had just transfered to the school. The new kid, was what people liked to call him. It's in the middle of the year and he's been there ever since the end of the first nine weeks. He still doesn't have any friends and he likes to leave at the beginning of lunch. Kai leaned back on the bench with a sigh, waiting for lunch to end. He sat there quiet for a moment untill he heard footsteps coming his way. Sitting up he looked over his shoulder as the rather small group of five approached him.
"Oh no..."
His voice was quiet as he stood up preparing to walk away, but the first step he took he stumbled, damnit, he thought as he looked back. One o

"Yeah, Kyle," I heard Alex saying and groaned softly, rolling over in my bed. "When I got home last night he was already in bed asleep. His face is flushed and he's been sweating. Yeah, I changed him into his pajamas and left some medicine and water by his bed. No, he hasn't taken it. I got a call from his coach last night asking if Nikolai had made it home alright and if he was okay. He was apparently in detention and the teacher sent him home halfway through. No, I don't know why he was in detention." Ugh, I knew what would come if she got off the phone with my foster father. I didn't have to be on the phone with him myself to know that he
I'm running; tears are rolling over my eyes, blurring my vision. Betrayal stabs my heart deeply and the only thing I can do now is cry and run.
Why?
I ponder over that single word while I am running and crying.
Why? Why? Why?
Why did you leave me for Mark, Madeline? Why did you take Madeline away from me, Mark? Why? What did I do to deserve this? How could you do this to me? Both of you! What have I done to make you hate me so?
A chain is around my neck; a silver cross attached. Why? Why has God forsaken me? Is there even a God? Is what my parents and all those people have been telling me a lie? I scream and yank the chain off of my neck

Chapter 16
Friday finally arrived. Kris was so excited, that as soon as his alarm went off he was already jumping out of bed and putting his pants on. He ate his breakfast, a muffin, at the bus stop, but because of his exuberant wake up, he had to wait 10 minutes before the bus even arrived. As he waited, he bounced on his heels and kept thinking about what he was going to say later. He had to make sure that he didn't scare Robert, but that he got his feelings across clearly. When the bus arrived, Kris ignored anything Delion was saying and just about skipped to his
I was pleased that Nikolai had gone out for the soccer team, even if by the time I got home Monday night he had fallen asleep in the bath. After getting him dried off and dressed in pajamas, I went to relax on the couch only to receive a call from Coach Moon. He wanted to have Nikolai join the soccer team, but he'd need a few things. One was a sports physical, which considering they were in the middle of tryouts, he would give me until next Monday to get. Another was cleats and shin guards, to which I readily agreed after seeing the nasty bruise on Nikolai's ankle. The last was a special diet for him.
As he put it, Nikolai had an exception
Chapter Nine- The Key
As I lounged in my living room, I stared at the T.V. blankly. I wasn't actually watching it. Of course, I was working on building up my wall, enclosing myself within me.
But, when I did this, it never failed- I'd face what I was trying to hide from in the process of running from it. Aiden was a lingering presence in the back of my mind.
I hate myself.
I hate myself because I hate myself.
I hate myself because I had to make a big deal out of everything.
I hate myself because I can't feel.
I hate myself because I'm the one who made it that way.
I hate myself for liking Aiden.
I hate myself for denying that
